Inflation measures how much more expensive a set of goods and services has become over a certain period, usually a year. Inflation has plunged countries into long periods of instability which explains part of the volatility in the stock market. On that note, we need to remember we’ve had low interest rates which has helped advance the economy for businesses. An adjustment was due and we will reach a balance.
